Art of Presence
The Art of Presence is a 7 days residency and gathering. It is a container of self exploration, learning, and sharing knowledge. It is an invitation to co-creation and arts.
“The unmediated presence of players with each other, with spectators, is the true purpose of live art… The essence of the experience is being there. The more our society dissolves into a mirror labyrinth of screens and telecommunication, the more vital is the experience of simply being with each other. At each moment we are there to witness an event that has never taken place before and will never take place again. This is true not only of theater but of every instance in life. The key to creativity is other human beings” ― Stephen Nachmanovitch, The Art of Is
About The Retreat
A multidisciplinary retreat designed to harmonize body and mind, The Art of Presence invites you to explore authenticity, build confidence, and awaken your creative essence. Through movement, breath, and artistic expression, we will cultivate an unshakable presence—one that allows us to step fully into our power as creators of our own lives.
Each day, you will have the opportunity to engage in embodiment and movement practices, yoga, and meditation, as well as a rich selection of workshops and creative laboratories. From dance and theater to dream journaling, poetry, and crafting, you can choose the experiences that resonate with you most. The journey will culminate in a collective artwork, a reflection of our shared transformation.
In this space of deep presence, we return home to ourselves.
Breathing in, here. Breathing out, now.

Each retreat is an open exchange of knowledge, movement, breath, sound, and sacred rituals, designed to guide you on a deep and personal journey. Our facilitators offer their expertise to support your process, creating a space where learning, growth, and connection flourish.

Giulia Anna Maria
Giulia defines herself as an artist of life. She has been hosting retreats with Tara and she is part of the Green Yoga Community in Berlin. She is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and she has been practicing since she was a teenager. She is in a continuous exploration of somatic and embodiment practices, butoh dance, movement research, sound improvisation and creative direction.

Ruggero
Ruggero is a sound and movement explorer. During the last ten years he has been traveling around the world, diving into very diverse traditions and experiencing the essence of ancient wisdoms and teachings. His personal research merges together the exploration of movement, breath and sound into a practice of subtle listening and awareness.
THE PLACE
Femmina Morta is a place of art, meetings, concerts, retreats and parties, as well as a family villa, but above all, it is a place where nature transports us into peace of mind, into mysticism, in the search for harmony. Located on the East coast of Sicily, between Pozzillo and Carruba, next to the volcano Etna, the land stretches for seven hectares into a palm nursery where chickens roam around among lemon, mango and avocado trees. The property comprends a huge garden, a pool and a gorgeous yoga shala with the beautiful view of the volcano. The beach is 20 minutes walk away.
